Moab Art Festival

Every memorial day, you can enjoy a free two day event in support of music, education and environmental awareness. This is an all-ages event with food, activities and local art.

Skinny Tire Festival

Each March, bikers can trek through the red rocks on a 5-day bike tour through Moab. This event is to raise awareness and fundraise to support researchers find a cure for cancer.

Moab Folk Festival

Enjoy a range of blue grass to modern acoustic music from over a dozen performers. This engaging, outdoor, family friendly festival includes food, arts and crafts and of course, music.

Canyonlands Half Marathon

Each March and October, over 4,000 participants gather to raise money for multiple local charities including: Huntsman Hometown Heroes, Moab Regional Hospital, Humane Society of Moab, and others.

Red Rock Arts Festival

Red Rock Arts Festival Plein Air competition celebrates open air painting in breathtaking Moab environments. The colorful, week-long gathering of artists and art lovers features workshops, competitions, awards, public art sales, and culminates with a street festival celebration.

Moab Art Walk

Every 2nd Saturday from April through November, local artist display their most recent works of art. Enjoy beverages as you walk and browse through downtown Moab.

Moab Jeep Safari

Experience the red desert from the mesa top to canyon bottom in your own vehicle on 40 different trails ranging in difficulty from 2-9. All trails in this nine-day event are guided by experienced, friendly trail officials. The Jeep Safari is an annual event hosted by the Red Rock 4-Wheelers off-road club, where 4-wheelers come to challenge the rough terrain of the backcountry in the Moab area. The Jeep Safari started in 1967 when the Moab Chamber of Commerce decided the jeeping community would be welcomed to rally on the Behind the Rocks Trail. The following year they added the Moab Rim trail, and participants were mostly Chamber members--just friends in the community enjoying jeeps on red rock. Now lots and lots and lots of people show up for the Jeep Safari, and you can join up.

Moab Trashion Show

Gather your trash and recycled goods to put together a your best costume made of "trash". All proceeds support Canyonlands Recycling Program.

MOAB 100 MILE & 50K ENDURANCE RACES

Every March, test your endurance and experience the beautiful landscape of Moab in the 100 mile or 50k races.

Moab Music Festival

At the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands national parks, the Moab music festival puts on 17 concerts of chamber music, jazz and Latin sounds on ranches, in private homes and at various outdoor settings. For the festival’s signature Grotto Concerts, a grand piano proceeds attendees on a 45-minute jet boat down the Colorado river to a towering red-rock grotto inside Canyonlands, where noted artists perform Mozart, Brahms and Dvorak using the intrepid instrument. Half-day music hikes and a three-night raft trip take audiences to performances in secluded nature settings.
