La Sal Mountains provides a playground for cross country enthusiasts.
The Gold Basin Trail offers Laurel Mountain for all skill levels. Julie's Glade offers backcountry terrain and intersects with both the Golden Basin Trail and Gold Basin which is a great practice course filled with great sightseeing.
The Geyser Pass Trail features chair 11 will help you practice your Mountaineering skills with a large 25 degree angle slope. You will also find Moonlight Meadow where you have a perfect opportunity to catch the sunset. If you are really adventurous, visit the isolated backcountry of Dark Canyon.

Visit a National Park
Being in a national park in the winter is completely different than during other months of the year. Less crowds and cooler temperatures make it easier to explore the parks, and sometimes, you may feel like you have them all to yourself! Arches National Park and Dead Horse Point State Park are great option!
